EARTHQUAKE RESILIENCE WORKSHOP FOR

DRINKING WATER AND WASTEWATER UTILITIES

 

To encourage communities to build greater resilience, Charleston Water System, Charleston County, S.C. Emergency Management Division, S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, South Carolina Rural Water Association, Water Environment Association of South Carolina, South Carolina Section of the American Water Works Association and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, are co-sponsoring a free half-day workshop for drinking water and wastewater utilities on the earthquake resilience.

 

The half-day workshop will give participants information on seismic hazards that threaten utilities and the steps they can take to address these threats. The workshop will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2019, in North Charleston, SC. There is no cost for this workshop.
