managing WEASC and SCAWWA memberships.
If you are a member of WEASC and/or SCAWWA, you can view and manage your personal information in your member profile by logging into the website or by contacting the Association office at 803-358-0658.
Usage Data
We also collect anonymous information on how visitors interact with this site, including your device type, IP address (geographic location), browser type and version, the pages visited, keyword searches, and more. This data helps us improve the site and
identify content that is most useful to site visitors.

Information from Third-Party Social Media Services
If you are a member of WEASC or SCAWWA, you may choose to log in to the member portal using your Facebook or LinkedIn account. If you choose to set up this log-in option, Facebook or LinkedIn will provide your name, profile picture, and email address.
You can remove this optional connection to Facebook or LinkedIn at any time via your member profile.
Who We Share Your Information With
Third-party service providers
We share your personal information with third-party service providers, including our Association Management System (AMS), email marketing service, member magazine publisher, digital marketing provider, and online payment processor. These service providers
help us communicate with you, manage events, and provide water-industry specific advertising. We make every effort to use reputable third-party services that protect user data.
AWWA and/or WEF
Depending on your membership, we will share your information with the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and/or the Water Environment Federation (WEF), as certain memberships include membership in the applicable national organization.
Other Members
When you share personal information in your member profile or otherwise interact with other users in the secure member portal area of our website, such information may be viewed by other members. You can control what information in your member profile
is visible to other members by logging into your member profile and adjusting the settings.
Data Security and Payment Processing
We utilize Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encryption for all commerce transactions to protect your personal information, including name, address, and credit card information.
All credit card transactions initiated on this website are completed through a third-party payment processor. SCAWWA/WEASC does not digitally store credit card information.
Credit card payments made via mailed or faxed forms are manually entered into our payment processor. Payment information is redacted before forms are stored. SCAWWA/WEASC is PCI Compliant.
We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely; however, no data transmission or electronic storage of information is 100% secure.

SCAWWA and WEASC does not intentionally or knowingly collect personal information for anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
